Automata Network, the Polkadot ecosystem’s decentralized middleware service protocol, has introduced a free-to-use private Remote Procedure Call (RPC) relay designed to unify Web3 data protection.
The platform’s 1RPC, announced today, is a free-to-use private RPC broker that Automata Network says will help protect end users from potential threats as the Web3 grows.

1RPC and Web3 privacy protection
There is no doubt that remote procedure calls (RPCs) are critical in the blockchain space.
Decentralized applications (dApps) communicate with the blockchain through RPC nodes, allowing users to access the network and interact across the network for actions such as viewing balances or creating a transaction. But requests shared through an RPC provider can leave user metadata exposed.
Threats to user data are possible in any space interaction, including NFT pricing. Automata Network’s 1RPC can prove critical in embedding users’ important privacy.
Primarily, 1RPC provides a secure technical design for protections such as “Do Not Track‘ and ‘anti-phishing’ – the most important benefits for users in terms of securing personal data and self-determination.
“The radical thing about Web3 is that you can build a better alternative to the status quo at any time. That’s why we launched 1RPC as a free proxy service to bring more users into the privacy-conscious culture we want to promote in the industry.…” said Deli Gong, co-founder of Automata Network.
1RPC provides one-click privacy protection and supports numerous leading blockchain platforms.
According to Automata Network, the technology is supported on AltLayer, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Gear, Kusama, Polkadot and Polygon, among others.
