“Life is about giving back”. The Nano Foundation’s Nigerian ambassador uses nano to make charitable donations in his community.

At the Nano Foundation, we never stop telling people that nano-currencies have the best community, not just in cryptocurrencies, but almost everywhere.

And when people ask why, we show them the incredible work that nanoambassadors and community members do day in and day out around the world.

Like Samuel Olapade, our ambassador to Nigeria.

Over the past 12 months, Samuel has led training events online and face to face. And he is passionate about combining his work for the nano community with supporting worthy causes in his own community.

As Samuel himself says:

“Life is about giving back when you realize that there are people who really need your help in some area.”

In his latest project, he turns these words into action.

Samuel organized mission projects for three orphanages in his community in Lagos – Saint Stephen Orphanage, House of Mercy Garden Home and Precious Pearls Orphanage.

In addition to donating food and other essentials, Samuel set up nanowallets for each orphanage, meaning they can now receive donations for free from anywhere in the world. He also helps them get funds and support in whatever way they want to use them.

As Samuel explains:

“Donations have been key tools used by organizations in fundraising. The currency used must be readily available, transparent in terms of transaction history, globally accepted and easy to exchange.

“Nano is a non-profit organization and donations are one of the core use cases for $XNO as it is easy to transfer from anywhere in the world. Our Nigeria team required this to raise awareness of the use of $XNO in the country as an acceptable currency for donations.”

We want to say a big thank you to Samuel and his team for their work in their community and beyond. We can’t wait to see what exciting things you achieve with nano over the next 12 months.

If you want to support Samuel, you can donate directly to the orphanages he chooses through the wallets below. You can also reach him on Telegram and LinkedIn.
