This week claims another Twitter NFT influencer was hacked via OpenSea, but is that really the case? Thus, the collector had lost several Doodles, Bored Apes and other blue-chip NFTs worth more than $1 million. However, the NFT community is not sorry – here’s why:
How was the BAYC NFT collector hacked via OpenSea?
Twitter NFT influencer and BAYC collector @jfx is the latest victim of the hack. The collector shared the news on social media along with a screenshot of his stolen NFT devices. In his phone screenshot, we can see two Doodles, one MAYC and one BAYC NFT; Correspondingly, however, there may be more of them.
“Don’t buy any of these products or anything else from my wallet” @jfx added.
Some members of the community felt sorry for him, while others called the incident “karma”. Here is an example:

Surprisingly, this answer by The Collector @zachxbt got almost 10,000 likes. According to him, the hacked NFT collector was scamming users using social media tactics – especially via Instagram. Other users even accused @jfx of stealing from other community members.
“Well you’ve stolen people’s good time, so here’s your karma,” user @Hallalluja wrote.
Regardless of the truth, one thing is certain: NFT scams are on the rise. In fact, several collectors have complained about hacking through OpenSea itself, so the real question is:
