According to Shibburn, the Shiba Inu’s burn rate reached triple digits, peaking at 1,031% in an instant on the last day of last week. The share continued to decline, although it is still very high at 800%.

Despite Sunday’s high burn rate, SHIBs totaled 129.4 million, equivalent to $1,430. According to reports, 318.7 million SHIBs, or $3,511, have been sent to “dead addresses” in the past week to burn Shiba Inu tags.

SHIB’s multi-trillion supply burnout continues to double. On the other hand, the process is slower than for Shiba Inu investors and friends. However, compared to previous periods, SHIB’s combustion process has accelerated dramatically since July of this year. Nevertheless, the increased burn rate has not allowed it to burn more than 10.4 billion SHIB, or $115,000, in these three months.

What is the SHIB burn rate?

Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB) had a fantastic 2021, garnering a lot of attention for its scorching efforts towards the end of the year.

While Shiba Inu does not have a regularly scheduled SHIB burn via tokenomics or WoofPaper, it now has a Shiba Inu burn gateway that allows token burning.

It was released on April 23rd and has already destroyed around 60 billion SHIB.

Aside from the portal, the community effort to burn SHIB is one of the most powerful in any cryptocurrency community. Individual burns have exceeded SHIB 10 billion due to burn gateway awards.

Based on March figures, SHIB’s fire rate was about 6 billion SHIB due to parish fires and Shiboshi name changes. In April it was 26 billion. The burn portal destroyed more SHIB than 2022 combined. It has burned 31 billion SHIB by May 2022.

The Shiba Inu community burned nearly 70 billion SHIBs in the first half of 2022. It burned 3.7 billion SHIB in August 2022.
