A startup connected to Web3’s K-pop network known as Modhaus has made a strategic partnership With Sandbox. Their primary goal is to expand blockchain-based K-pop by creating NFTs associated with the K-pop girl group tripleS.

Together, they can now create a social hub that makes it easier to participate in events in the Metaverse.

Triple NFTs, Avatars, Wearables and Digital Collectibles in the Sandbox

tripleS is a 24-member K-pop group girl group which leverages the power of the blockchain to give its fans access and control over their various experiences.

Their community voted to create two sub-units through the blockchain-based Gravity voting mechanism created by Modhaus. These units include Acid Angel from Asia and +(KR)ystal Eyes.

Looking at Acid Angel from Asia, this unit in particular has achieved great success. The band released their first debut album, Access, in October 2022, with the lead track Generation, which has already garnered 28 million views on YouTube.

As for Modhaus as a project, it was created with the primary goal of promoting Korean pop culture on top of the blockchain.

The project uses NFT-based governance mechanisms to more closely connect fans and content creators, and tripleS is currently its main focus in this partnership.

  • There are already numerous other competing K-pop related projects in The Sandbox that have expanded. They contain A recent addition to LINE Studio to the metaverse.
  • Also a sandbox in collaboration with Cube Entertainmentwhich is one of the biggest K-pop acts, which means there is a lot of competition in the K-pop space.
