Bybit cryptocurrency exchange has announced that OKG, the administrative token of the GameFi project Ookeenga, will be the next token introduced on the Binance Launchpool platform.
Ookeenga is a video game that offers players both PvE and PvP game modes. In terms of gameplay, Ookeenga combines features from real-time strategy, collectible card games, and tower defense genres. The game utilizes NFT technology to represent playable items and characters, allowing players to own and exchange their in-game funds freely.
There are two tokens in the Ookeenga ecosystem: OKG and KAB. OKG, which has a limited supply, functions as a grant token and also gives its holders the right to participate in administration. KAB has no supply cap and acts as a payment token that can be used to create new characters, upgrade products, and other in-game activities.
OKG, the token featured on the Bybit Launchpad, is issued on the BNB Chain blockchain using the BEP-20 standard. Ookeenga players can earn OKG through betting, in-game activities and participating in the governance process. The Ookeenga project says that the community coffers containing the income generated by the Ookeenga platform will eventually be transferred to OKG’s stakeholders.
