On September 26, a leading American multinational retail company, Walmartlaunched two new initiatives, Walmart country and Walmart’s universe of playtarget Roblox the reported player base is 52 million.

According to their announcement, the company will primarily focus on the fashion, beauty and entertainment departments of Walmart Land’s interactive and immersive experiences, located on multiple “islands.” Walmart Universe of Play is a real paradise for kids when it comes to toys and they can enjoy it.

To further its corporate marketing plan, Walmart has joined the ranks of high-profile fashion powerhouses such as Gucci and Ralph Lauren using Roblox’s huge following. The gaming business announced that it would include in-game 3-D portals that would lead visitors to sponsored experiences such as Chipotle’s virtual eateries and Gucci’s Gucci Town.

In the year 2004 David Baszucki and Eric Cassel, the founders of the company, came up with the concept of Roblox as a gaming hub that would include games created by several different developers. The year 2006 officially marked the beginning of the company.

The next generation of consumers is at the center of several immersive experiences offered at Walmart Land. Included are the music-focused Electric Island and Electric Fest, as well as the fashion- and beauty-focused House of Style. In addition, users can participate in contests and activities where they can earn tokens to spend in-game, as well as purchase virtual goods from the virtual store.

On the other hand, Walmart Play offers five immersive games with characters Jurassic World, Paw Patroland Razor scootersand allows players to earn money for collecting virtual items. Hoverboards will be used by players’ avatars to travel through virtual environments.
